15 Android widgets that will make iPhone users jealous

aA major advantage of Android on iPhone widgets. Android them has, iPhone does not work. Widgets are valuable because they can provide a look at a look at many different types of information and quick access to useful applications and configuration settings. To help you find some of the most useful widgets, I started my list of top 15. The best way so this list is in the gallery of screenshots. But you can also see the list form below. A couple of things to keep in mind with widgets: 1) They can sometimes resource hog, bandwidth, and battery life so you must ensure that you have a killer job to regularly refresh your open applications, 2) can take up to Widgets .. many properties and the screen so that you may need to use a different screen launcher origin, as a pitcher Pro, giving you extra space. List 1. Extended Controls Android comes with a "Power Control" widget (below) I've always loved, because it allows you to quickly switch Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Brightness, and more. However, I recently discovered the "Extended Controls" widget that lets you create a customized version of power control with many more options toggle. 2. Battery Watcher This widget provides a visual percentage of the battery. Since you can not add the percentage of battery notification icon in Android, I always embed this simple widget on my main home screen on any Android device. Like it's the size of an application icon, so you do not take too much screen real estate. 3. Picture Dial This line is a smartphone application that allows you to speed up your most important people and most frequently dialed numbers or from photos. You can see the two dimensions of the widget, one with two figures and one four. You can also stack multiple widgets on the same page. The default configuration is that you select a contact and assign telephone, text messaging, or e-mail to the speed dial key. 4. Widget Analytics If you use Google Analytics to track website traffic, this little widget, it is easy to get a quick glance to your traffic measurements. It takes the same amount of space as an application icon and you can configure multiple widgets to monitor multiple parameters. 5. 3G Watchdog As most people know, "unlimited bandwidth" data plans are not unlimited. Most of them are capped at 5 GB Moreover, companies like AT & T get away from unlimited plans at all done. This means that people will need to be more aware of the bandwidth used. 3G Watchdog is a widget that can monitor for you. The widget is available in two sizes, as you can see in the screenshot screen. 6. System Info This widget provides a great little system monitoring function for the life of the battery, overheating, memory and storage. 7. Pure Calendar There is a high-widget that can provide a quick glance at your calendar, but Pure Calendar is much more detailed and customizable. 8. Pure Messenger The cousin of Pure Calendar is the Messenger of Pure, which can provide a quick glance to your inbox. It can even integrate SMS, Twitter, MS, and mail Facebook. 9. Buzzbox Buzzbox offers a widget to quickly unadorned watching the news. There are a bunch of RSS feeds pre-configured (including good technology) and you can easily add your own. 10. SMS unread count The basic principle here is that this widget replaces your messaging (SMS) icon with a widget that looks like an icon, but includes a small red circle in the upper right corner with the number of unread messages (mirroring the iPhone UI). The application can also do it for Gmail and phone (missed calls). 11. Last Call This widget gives a quick look at your last call, which makes it easy to reconstruct or remember a missed call. You can also click on the widget to go to your full call log. 12. FlightView For travelers, the widget FlightView is very convenient. Rather than dig through applications or web pages to get an update of flight, you can enter your airline and flight number in this soft and he will follow you. 13. Twitter As I said, Twitter is a tremendous driver of real-time intelligence. Now there is an official Android Twitter app, there are a couple widgets Twitter (large and small) for scanning your Twitter stream. 14. Scoreboard This is a Google widget that lets you keep track of scores your favorite sports teams. It shows the last game and the next game (or game over). 15. aThe Android Market can be many applications that the iPhone App Store yet, but there is still enough to be submerged, and it is growing at a breakneck pace. To help you sort all, here is my list of the best applications I found on Android. Again, remember that this is a snapshot in time. The Android platform is growing so fast now that I secured my home screen look different a month from now. The best way to see my list of Android apps is higher in the screenshot gallery. However, you can also check my top 25 in the list below. List 1. Google Voice Google Voice is a service that is so useful I consider it one of the main advantages of Android itself, especially since Apple has rejected an application for the iPhone Google Voice. It gives you a phone number can ring at multiple locations or devices, and it lets you access all your voicemails and text on the Web. The Android application integrates deeper. It can make outgoing calls looks like they from Google Voice your number so you can keep your real mobile number private. 2. Killer Force Advanced One of the realities of having a multitasking operating system Android is that you manage your applications so as not to interfere with performance or battery life. Advanced Task Killer (or ATK) is my favorite. It even comes with a widget that you can tap once to kill all open applications. 3. Dropbox Dropbox is a great cloud service automatically synchronizes a folder of files between multiple computers (Windows, Mac, or Linux). This application extends Dropbox for Android and interacts with other applications (such as Documents To Go) to open the files. 4. Evernote Once you get used to typing on a keyboard (and honestly took me over a year to do), these devices are ideal for taking notes, and is an interesting application Evernote note-taking. It is similar to Dropbox in that it stores data locally, but it syncs all of your machines. 5. DroidAnalytics For some reason, Google does not have a formal application (either for Android or iPhone) for Google Analytics. The best I found on Android is DroidAnalytics. Another good mAnalytics. 6. Documents To Go The free version of Documents To Go offers a great little player for Word and Excel files. You can upgrade to the full version ($ 15) if you want to edit files and PowerPoint files add to the mix. If you want editing capabilities, I also recommend you take a look at QuickOffice. 7. Amazon Kindle I never warmed to the Amazon Kindle e-reader, but I'm a fan of the Kindle mobile applications. As he was released, I read books a lot more simply because my smartphone is always with me and I can pull it off and read a few pages at any time I have some free minutes. 8. Sites Directory This is a great app for finding shops and services near your current location. From restaurants to movie theaters to medical services for taxis, this app is very accurate and uses of business information from Google Local. Essential Many of us have lists of contacts scattered across different computers, peripherals and services online. Gist is a Web service that can bring them together, and even pull in stuff on the web to help you stay current with your most important contacts. There is an Android application, as well as the iPhone. 15. TED Mobile TED is an exciting event that features a meeting of the minds of some of the most influential thinkers of society. You'll probably disagree with some of them, because there is a wide diversity of opinions, but many interviews are worth listening to. What I like is that they have taken the videos of their conference and made available free on the Web. This application provides an excellent way to access the videos. I hope others follow suit TED conferences on the subject. 16. Pandora Pandora is a "radio station streaming for the Internet age. You simply search by artist or song and it will create a playlist running on the basis of only one piece of information. It weaves an occasional announcement between songs, but the advertisements tend to be fairly localized and sometimes even useful. 17. Shazam If you want to impress your friends with a mobile application, show them Shazam. Never heard a song being played in a store or on the radio and ask: "Oh, what song is it?"
